Contracting & Farming

We travelled up to Durham to pay a visit to Tania Coxon, who runs a predominantly Case IH outfit, as they were tucking into the last of the wheat. Olivia got chatting to Tania about what got her started into contracting, as well as her other country sporting business 'The Country Girls UK'.

We took the JCB 420s to Killen Bros Contracting so they could see how she managed the indoor pits under the pressure of the Krone Big X 1180 as well as some duties around the farm. Donkey got chatting to Adam to get his verdict!

We called out to Thoresby Farm as they were in full swing between harvesting spuds with their Grimme Varitron 220, combining with their two Claas Lexions and putting their new Dammann sprayer to use.

Nearly a decade after we first visited T W West Ltd, we call back to catch up with Tim and find out how his business has changed. From converting his contracting fleet from Valtra to John Deere, adding a few new trailers into the mix as well as expanding into the livestock and farming!

The JCB 420S has been busy this summer buckraking around the country so we decided to take her to Beatties farm to test her loading bales and hauling a bale trailer!

We called back out to D.J McKay and Son to let them test the new Pottinger Top 1403 rake along side the 420S!

We called back to Waldersey Farms to check out their massive harvest operation! Olivia got chatting to Andrew about how their new John Deere X9 combine was performing in the wheat, as well as venturing out to see Ben put the John Deere 9RX to work in some tough ground with his massive cultivation train.

The John Deere 7810 equipped with the Tanco Triple Mowers joins Beatties John Deere 7530 and 6400 in dropping their third cut silage!
