1,500 Acres a Year with an Old Jaguar!

While many contractors are investing in the latest machinery, Colin has built a reputation for keeping older equipment working at its best. Harvesting around 1,500 acres each year, he relies on experience, careful maintenance, and a practical approach to machinery ownership.

During the winter months, Colin keeps busy as a mechanic, helping other farmers and contractors keep their machines running. We chat with him in the cab of the Jaguar about contracting, machinery maintenance, and why he believes older kit still has a place in modern agriculture.

We also take a look at some of Colin’s McCormick tractors, including a rare Diamond Edition. It's the first of only 60 ever produced and continues to earn its keep everyday.
