Chatting to Ben - a mow with the 'Cross Flow'
Donkey called up Ben as he took the A10 Cross Flow mowers out for a demo, and he gave us a short insight into some of the grassland machinery that Pottinger were displaying on their roadshow.
Hannah's Bales
You may remember us taking part in a 24 Hour Walk a few weeks ago to raise funds for the Helping Hands Charity based in the PICU ward at Royal Victoria Hospital. Since then Hannah Smyth has amazed us all with her recovery so we paid a visit to the Smyth farm in Ballycastle last week to bale their fourth cut with the aim of raising some last minute funds for the charity. We also thought Ryan would enjoy a go on the Reiter Merger to see how it would fair on their organic crop.
We would like to thank everyone who has been involved in the fundraising efforts so far and we hope to be handing over the cheque to the children's ward very soon!
Pöttinger Tillage Days
We travelled down to Wexford to see how the Pöttinger team were getting on with Big Henry and the 7310R, and got chatting to manager Diarmuid Claridge about what they were hoping to achieve from their demo days.
R&G McKnight Round Off the Season
At the start of the week we paid a visit to Gavin McKnight who was finishing off the summer chopping his own grass in Parkgate, Co. Antrim. Recently he's been having a go on the Reiter Merger and has also been using the KTwo trailer so we were keen to know his thoughts. Plus, we can't call it quits on grass season without a visit to these guys!

The 7810 got a new front PTO so we thought this would be the perfect time to test it out with the Krone mowers and try to beat the rain at HQ!

Tanco S200v Bale Wrapper!
We had Michael from Tanco up at the barn with their S200v Bale Wrapper helping us get farmer Gareths bales in for the season! Donkey took the opportunity to go mad with it and the JCB 419s Loader!
A walkaround the JCB 419S
When JCB introduced the 419S to their range of wheeled loaders we reckoned they had created a much sought after product. The latest Stage 5 version is just perfecting their creation in our opinion! We talk to Sam from JCB who will talk you through how they have created an Animal!!
Gazza Baling at GRASSMEN HQ!
Gazza takes a run out in the Massey Ferguson 7719S and the McHale Fusion 3 Pro hooked on the back to do some baling at GRASSMEN HQ!
Ploughing at Country Crest!
We kept the best for last...depending on what you like. We filmed Country Crest's mighty Fendt 939 along with our John Deere 6250R ploughing on a beautiful day a couple of years ago. What a pair they make! ?
